KT Cap Consulting (KTCC) is a privately held, Singapore-based boutique management consultancy dedicated to accelerating growth for Insurtech, Fintech, and HealthTech ventures across Southeast Asia. Operating at the intersection of business and technology, KTCC blends innovation-led thinking, deep domain expertise, and access to an exclusive ecosystem to chart a clearer path to profitability.

KTCC embraces bold ideas and agile ways of working. On occasion, it deploys proprietary capital to invest directly in promising startups—always opportunistically, and without seeking external funding.

Following its founding in Singapore, KTCC expanded into Malaysia in 2022 and Mongolia in 2023, continuing its commitment to building regional impact through strategic insight and entrepreneurial partnership.

Kenny Thing

Managing Partner & Founder

Kenny Thing is a passionate advisor and thought leader in the Insurtech and Healthtech start-up scene. Since 2018, he has exited several startups, leveraging over 20 years of experience in life insurance and wealth management.

Kenny’s career highlights include leading the growth of an UK Insurer for its  bancassurance partnerships and investment platforms in Singapore, and holding key roles at other insurers and Insurtech companies in Malaysia. His expertise made him a sought-after advisor and speaker in the insurtech industry.

In 2018, Kenny became CEO of a leading commercial broker in Malaysia, driving substantial growth and innovation. His entrepreneurial spirit has transitioned him into advisory and investment roles, focusing on early-stage tech startups in insurance and healthcare.

Kenny holds a Master’s degree in Finance and has completed executive education at the Richard Ivey School of Business and INSEAD, France. His extensive experience and visionary approach now empower him to support and mentor new ventures in the insurtech and healthtech sector.
